University Teaching Program (UTP)
Faculty and academic staff have the opportunity to review and enhance their competencies via University Teaching (UT) seminars held throughout the academic year. These sessions focus on planning and design, delivery, assessment or evaluation, best practices, and strategic insights on education and pedagogy.
Seasoned faculty members, including awardees of the UP Diliman Gawad Chanselor para sa Natatanging Guro, are invited to lead the discussions and share some of their best teaching practices to fellow educators. The OAT also conducts customized workshops for departments and colleges on such topics as addressing the psychosocial needs of students, collaborative and cooperative learning, universal design of learning, and understanding the gifted and twice exceptional. These practical, hands-on sessions aim to support faculty and their units in providing quality instruction.
