“Philippine Modernities: Music, Performing Arts, and Language, 1880 to 1941” by Dr. Jose S. Buenconsejo, former Dean of College of Music, won as the Best Book in the Social Sciences.
“Pag-ahon: Mga Kuwentong Buhay ng mga Nanay” by Dr. Luna Sicat-Cleto, Associate Professor at the College of Arts and Letters, was chosen as the Best Book of Non-Fiction Prose in Filipino.
“Traditional Medicine in the Colonial Philippines, 16th to the 19th Century” by Dr. Ma. Mercedes G. Planta, Associate Professor at the College of Arts and Letters, was picked as the Best Book in Science.
